URL Opener
Paste URLs (or any text with links). We’ll extract, clean, and open them in new tabs. No data stored.
Preview & Results
Tip: If your browser blocks pop-ups, increase the delay or open fewer tabs at once. You can also “Allow pop-ups” for hota.digital (see Chrome help above).
Where a bulk URL opener helps
Opening 20–50 links manually is slow and error-prone. A URL Opener saves time across:
- QA & tracking: validate multiple landing pages, confirm UTM tagging, and test redirects across markets.
- Localization checks: spot region-specific issues (right-to-left layouts, localized components, hreflang destinations).
- Competitor research: open dozens of product & category pages quickly to benchmark offers and content.
- Vendor due diligence: bulk-open partner and distributor links shared in spreadsheets.
Use it to review landing pages, localized pages, pricing pages, redirects and competitor URLs in repeatable batches.
How to use it effectively
- Paste your list: one URL per line is ideal; we also extract links from plain text.
- Use cleaning options: add
https://when missing, remove#fragments, striputm_/gclid/fbclidfor clean testing, and dedupe. - Preview before opening: sanity-check the cleaned list and untick anything you don’t need.
- Open with a small delay (e.g., 250 ms): improves pop-up success and reduces browser strain.
- Open in batches: set a Max tabs (e.g., 10–15), open that set, then the next.
- Combine with other Hota tools: after opening pages, run the Redirect Checker or hreflang Validator on your targets.
FAQs
Browsers restrict multiple pop-ups not directly tied to a user gesture. We open tabs from your click with a small delay, but large bursts can still be blocked. Increase the delay, reduce the max tabs, or allow pop-ups for this site (see Chrome help in Official references).
No. The list stays in your browser, and cleaning happens entirely client-side. We don’t log or persist your input.
We intentionally open in new tabs using
window.open for speed. Opening in incognito or changing tab context isn’t possible programmatically for security reasons-use your browser UI for that.
We accept
http/https URLs. If a line looks like a domain (e.g., example.org) we can prepend https://. We also trim trailing punctuation (e.g., commas in copied spreadsheets).
In QA and benchmarking you often want the canonical destination without campaign noise. Stripping common trackers like
utm_*, gclid, and fbclid helps verify the true landing and SEO signals. Toggle it off if you’re testing analytics.
